Someday List
build pages for: how to make a simple booklet in LibreOffice, overview of drawing keypad/shortcuts, move tools to its own page, make a 88x31 button
This section is a list of various tools, softwares etc. that I use.
Art
Software: Clip Studio Paint EX ver. 2 (perpetual license).
Hardware: XP-PEN Innovator 16 (anniversary edition) + Parblo PR-100 stand.
Writing
Software: LibreOffice.
Also: Google Docs for writing on my phone.
Publishing
Software: Affinity Publisher 2.
Also: LibreOffice, if you want something less fancy and more free. It is good enough to lay out a zine, and you can easily print booklets from it too.
Print service for booklets: Mixam.
Misc Tools
- Sumatra PDF, a PDF reader.
- Calibre, e-book manager.
- Mullvad VPN, don't use any other VPN but this.
- Media players: MPC-HC x64 (video), foobar2000 (audio and radio streams).
- VB-CABLE, virtual audio device. Win10 allows you to adjust volumes of individual programs but I still prefer the virtual cable for convenience (e.g. sending all non-voice audio to it).
- Workrave, for reminders to take breaks (mitigate eye strain, RSI, etc.)
- Brackets, open-source HTML editor.
- Neocities, free static website hosting.
- Todoist, so I don't carry a massive to-do list in my head. Google Tasks, or a block of sticky notes and a pen, also work fine.
- Feeder, RSS feed aggregator for Android.
- Tusky, Mastodon client for Android.
- Elk, Mastodon client for web.
